RECOGNITION OF QUALIFICATIONS
The recognition of qualifications means establishing the equivalence of the official certificates and degrees obtained in foreign institutions to Spanish official certificates which give access to a standardised occupation in Spain.
Foreign studies that have been recognised have the same validity in all the national territory as official Spanish certificates.
All the documents provided to fulfil the requirements of this procedure must be issued by the corresponding bodies, recognised and translated into the co-official language in Spain:
- If the documents are issued by countries which adhere to the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961, they must have the Hague apostille legalisation attached.
- If the documents are issued by countries which are not parties to the Convention, they must be legalised through diplomatic channels.
The period allowed to resolve the request is six months, starting from the moment of its registration in the Ministry of Sciende and Education. No notified resolution by the end of this period means that the standardisation request has been dismissed due to administrative silence.
Do not risk the failure of your request and count on the best consultants to get the recognition of your qualifications!
